I don't even know why I haven't written in so long. I could simply say, I haven't been inspired. But then I can play devil's advocate and say, music should always inspire - so maybe I was just lazy. Or too busy. Or I kept forgetting. In any case, tonight I heard a fantastic version of Lara Fabian's "Je T'aime" sung by Lisa Lavie. As good and as goosebump-worthy as that was, I found this and it blew me away. It made me realize yet again how music can really bring everyone together, no matter race, religion or ethnicity. You sing as one entity and you love as one entity. This simply amazed me at how perfect this moment was. You might not understand the words, but I promise, it's worth it. The song is so powerful on its own, and when the crowd sings along it's like it becomes a religious experience. You have to check it out.
